Evaluating performance through video analysis using the Kandle software. Also through www.bbcsport.co.uk and for extension learning at home.

Confident Individuals

  • Students will be develop at own pace, showing enjoyment and increasing confidence.

  • Students will experience a range of roles like leading, following, coaching and officiating.

  • Students will engage in competitive, creative, artistic, aesthetic and challenging activities that require them to become self-aware and deal with their emotions, for example when winning or losing or when being supportive of others.

Responsible Citizens

  • All students will lead a warm up and help to umpire a game, which can be transferred to the local community.

  • Students will have knowledge of the healthy life style needed to become a club badminton player and how their life choices will affect performance.

  • Students will understand and demonstrate the importance of respect in sport.

Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning

  • All students will know that net/wall games exists and have a basic knowledge of the main objectives of the games. Skill, knowledge and experience level will be variable - Differentiation needed.
