Introduction to the APUSH DBQ: Unlike AP World, APUSH DBQ readers DO NOT expect you to use every document in an essay. The goal is to use 1-2 more documents than half when writing your essay. APUSH readers want to see that you know about the time period and that you’re simply enhancing your essay with inferences from the provided documents.
