Monday, November 5:

Frameworks: H6.8.9, H6.8.6, E7.8.1, E9.8.8, E9.8.5

CCSS: RH8.2, RH8.4, RH8.7, WH8.7

Goal and Objectives: Students will work in groups PRESENT key contributors to the Scientific Revolution and how these new technologies made European exploration possible, analyze the changing wants and needs of people over time, evaluate the interaction of supply and demand, and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of global trade.

Assignments: Student will present projects. The class will write down key information from each presentation. TEST FRIDAY
Tuesday, November 6:

Frameworks: H6.8.9, H6.8.6, E7.8.1, E9.8.8, E9.8.5

Assignments: Teacher will discuss and outline on the Smartboard while having question/answer session with students as they copy outline and make additions to their notes. TEST FRIDAY
Thursday, November 8:

Frameworks: H6.8.9, H6.8.6, E7.8.1, E9.8.8, E9.8.5

CCSS: RH8.2, RH8.4, RH8.7, WH8.7

Goal and Objectives: Students will complete outline of European Exploration and global trade.

Goal and Objectives: Students will demonstrate knowledge of the key contributors to European Exploration, analyze the changing wants and needs of people over time, evaluate the interaction of supply and demand, and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of global trade.

Assignments: Teacher will pass out Open Response test on European Exploration. Students will complete and turn in for grading.
