representatives will discuss current admissions criteria on Thursday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m. in
the Performing Arts Center. Please come to hear from UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Charlotte,
Appalachian State, Wake Forest University and Forsyth Tech Community College. This is
a valuable opportunity to learn what colleges consider when they review prospective
applicants. The program is sponsored by the West Forsyth Counseling Department.
2. Summer employment: Students seeking summer employment should check with Mrs.
Hale in the Guidance Department or check out the Career Development website under the
Departments tab on the West Forsyth homepage. We are receiving notifications of
job opportunities weekly.
3. Junior/Senior Prom will be April 23 at the Millennium Center in Downtown Winston-
Salem from 7pm-11pm. Suitable evening attire is required. Good judgment & taste should
be the determining factors. Free, secured parking will be available. Detailed instructions for
the event will be included on the rule sheet when you purchase tickets. Tickets will be on
sale April 11th- April 15th during all lunches. Tickets are $35, but will increase to $40 the
week of prom. All debts must be paid prior to purchasing tickets. Guest forms are
