This week’s homework challenge is linked to our topic this term and is based on bridges. http://pathubert.wikispaces.com/file/view/image_multiple_intelligences.gif/183141311/257x247/image_multiple_intelligences.gif

We have been thinking about different bridges and in particular the bridges built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. For homework this week we are challenging the children to find out about bridges and to make something to bring into school to share.

MUST: Draw or paint a picture of a bridge (either a real bridge or a bridge in a story.)

SHOULD: find out about different types of bridges around the world, what they look like, how they are made and make a picture list of different bridges.

COULD: find out about the bridges of Isambard Kingdom Brunel and make a fact sheet / powerpoint with key facts, pictures and interesting information.

Remember you only need to choose one home work to do and the MUST is the minimum we expect from all children, it is up to you to choose the level of challenge you would like to engage in. If you have a different creative idea linked to the theme it is fine for you to challenge yourself and bring in your work.
