The Civil War
Directions: On each pentagon you will be writing down the following information. Answer each question completely, accurately and neatly. Once you are finished please add colored borders/illustrations to your pentagons. After showing your teacher your finished pages, you may cut out each circle. Be sure to cut on the solid lines. Then fold the flaps out and staple each flap together. Title for each of your sides is in bold.
__Side #1: Write “The Civil War” along with the years it started and ended, Union vs. Confederate, and some symbol under the words “Union” and “Confederate” to represent them.
__Side #2: President Lincoln – Years he served as President, and 2-3 things about him.
__Side #3: John Brown – first and last name, why they are important, and 2-3 things about them.
__Side #4: Harriet Tubman – first and last name, why they are important, and 2-3 things about them.
__Side #5: Important Person of Choice – first and last name, why they are important, and 2-3 things about them.

__Side #12: Famous Speech/ Document – Name item, person, when and location, 2 – 3 things about it
