Building Construction will explore all areas of construction including residential, commercial, and civil construction. The processes of design, estimating, planning and the contractor’s role in scheduling will be included.
Building Trades

Building Trades is a year long course that provides students the apprenticeship opportunity to frame and finish a house in an off-campus setting. This course focuses on the actual construction processes involved with building a residential home from excavation through the finishing stages. The quality of the students work must meet the standards of the local building inspectors. Building Trades corresponds to CON 336, 336 in the DMACC course guide.
