Prerequisite: None Adult Living Skills is designed to help prepare students for living on their own after high school. Students develop decision-making skills as they relate to food selection and preparation, clothing selection and care, housing alternatives, and personal financial planning. The intent is to help students understand both the immediate and long-range consequences of the decisions they will be making.

Parenting is designed to provide information about parenting attitudes, knowledge and skills which will enable students to make responsible decisions about parenting. Students will learn about the parenting roles and responsibilities involved in caring for and nurturing the development of children from birth through the teen years.
