Prerequisite: None Housing and Interior Design students explore factors affecting decisions related to housing and home furnishings for individuals and families. Planning, selecting, purchasing, and maintaining a livable home environment are emphasized, while exploring topics such as housing design, interior design, selection and use of appliances, energy conservation in the home, furniture selection and arrangement, wall and floor coverings, window treatments, accessories, lighting, and landscaping.
