Important: Do not prepare a separate medical opinion DBQ. The “Notice to Examiners in Southwest Asia Claims” directs the examiner to provide a medical opinion if the examiner characterizes the disability pattern as a diagnosable chronic multi-symptom illness with a partially explained etiology, or a disease with a clear and specific etiology and diagnosis.
