This submission comments on the following terms of Reference
Scope of Act

  1. Review the scope of the Act to determine whether the policy objectives remain valid; and consider other issues, technologies or organisms that may be included in the scope of the Act including:

    1. consideration of economic, marketing and trade, cultural and social impacts, and re-examine how ethical issues are considered.

    2. the definitions in the Act, including of the environment, and the need for the definition of other terms, including health.
