Obit found in the Wilkes Barre Record, Monday, September 13, 1948Michael Connors, 53 Frothingham Street, Pittston Township, died on Saturday at his home following a short illness. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, its Holy Name Society and Friendly Sons of St. Patrick.Surviving are his widow, the former Catherine Crane; children, Thomas, Harry, and Mrs. William Luke, Pittston; Mrs. Davis Brown, Binghamton; Joseph, John, and Mary, at home; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. George Arnold, Mrs. Edward Crane, Mrs. Ray McGarry, Pittston; brothers, James, John and Edward Connors, Pittston.Funeral will be held from the home Tuesday at 9 with a requiem mass at 9:30 in St. John's Church. Interment in parish cemetery
