Originally, I set out two different schedules for Edge and Life Teen, but I have combined them I think we have time for this with each group and I think we can do the same with each group. Feedback is welcome, however

          1. I would like to show this on a projector because I’m worried the county lines won’t come up on a handout. However, I could zoom in on the map and print a portion of it on a handout and see if that works. YES PROJECTOR

      2. Poverty and Preferential option for the poor

        1. Poverty is just one way that some people live on the fringes of society – there is injustice in this because we are called to respect, have mercy for, and serve each other.

        2. Gospel Readings to Study and Pray about -- We are called to put the needs of the poor first COULD THIS BE DONE IN SMALL GROUPS?

          1. Matthew 25: 31-46 – “Judgment of the Nations” reading

          2. Luke 6: 20-23 – “Blessed are the poor, theirs is the kingdom of God.”

          3. 1 John 3: 17-18 – “How does God’s love abide in anyone who has the world’s good and sees one in need and refuses to help?”

          4. Luke 4:16-21 – “Jesus proclaims his mission: to bring good news to the poor and oppressed.”

        3. In teaching us charity, the Gospel instructs us in the preferential respect due to the poor and the special situation they have in society: the more fortunate should renounce some of  their rights so as to place their goods more generously at the service of  others.
