Objectives:

TSW read the essay “Right to be Free” and “The Speech in the Virginia Convention by Patrick Henry”

TSW summarize paragraphs from “The Speech in the Virginia Convention”

TSW analyze Patrick Henry’s use of language to evoke emotions and persuade the reader.

TSW discuss the development of events and an issue, within the early 1600’s to late 1700’s, leading to the development of the American Constitution.
