DRYBRUSH: Drybrush “welcome” on snowman’s tree trunk with Old World Santa Red followed with Red, Christmas Red and Orange.
PAINT: Eyes using True Blue for the irises. Paint White to “Rosy Cheeks” and “Cozy Hearts” and stitches on sweater hearts. Paint Shimmering Silver to inside of bulbs.

SPECKLED STROKE AND COAT: SP-253 Speckled Purple Haze, SP-227 Speckled Sour Apple and SP-216 Speckled Cotton Tail.
GLAZE: C-101 Blu White Clear
MISC.: Mayco Medium Writer Tip and Bottle AC-222 and Wax Resist AC-302. PREPARATION: After removing casts from molds, cut out mouths in Snowmen candy shakers and place on a flat plaster mold or plaster bat. Using slip in a squeeze bottle, squeeze slip into the mouth of the candy shakers to fill in the pour gates. Allow to dry and clean and fire to cone 04.
GLAZE: Pour Blu White Clear glaze Inside of candy shakers and pourgate area of bowls, pour out excess glaze, clean any drips with a damp sponge. Allow to dry.
APPLY STROKE AND COATS: Apply 3 even coats of Stroke and Coat as follows: Santa Bowl: Flesh – 1:1 Pink a Boo and Birthday Suit. Mustache and hat trim – Cotton Tail, beard – Speckled Cotton Tail. Belt Buckle – 1:1 mix of Sunkissed and Butter Me Up. Hat and suit including belt – Hot Tamale. Line using Gray Hare. Lip – Melon –Choly. Apply AC-302 Wax Resist to mustache and allow to dry. Apply Melon-Choly to nose and cheeks using a sponge, wipe off any excess Melon – Choly from wax areas. Eyes and belt – 1 coat of Tuxedo. Penguin Bowl: face and body – Speckled Cotton Tail, hat trim and scarf – Speckled Purple Haze, hat – Speckled Sour Apple. Beak – Orange Ya Happy, eyes and black areas of head and body with 1 coat of Tuxedo. Line with Tuxedo. Apply green dots with Sour Apple using end of a brush handle. Snowman Bowl and Snowman Candy Shakers: - Snowmen – Speckled Cotton Tail, yellow Hat Trim – 1:1 Sunkissed and Butter Me Up, nose’s – Orange Ya Happy, red hat areas – Candy Apple Red, blue scarf and hat– The Blues, eyes – Tuxedo. Line scarf with 501 Blues. Green hat trim and bowl buttons – Sour Apple. Apply white dots to snowmen with Cotton Tail and the Medium Writer Tip and Bottle AC-222. Allow to dry and fire to cone 06.
