Mrs Elliott was asked to write to the organisers of the Ox Roasting at Coalpit Heath, in case any sum could be given this hospital out of the proceeds.

Miss Henrietta Mainstone of Iron Acton was admitted 8 May at 2gns a week.

Mrs Phyllis White of 7 Council Houses, Watley's End, was admitted 13 May at 30/- a week plus 30/- maternity fee. Her baby boy was born the same day.

Mrs Christine Bayley of Westwood, Frenchay, was admitted 14 May at 3gns a week plus 30/- maternity fee. Her baby boy was born 15 May.

£5/5/- had been received from the Ox Roasting at Coalpit Heath.

The account at the bank was overdrawn on 6 May by about £26, and a large bill from Messrs England & Son had been sent in of £48/1/6. Mr Yeoman [Hon Secretary] was asked to pay it.

Mrs Skelton stated that she had made arrangements for a dancing display & a Japanese play to be performed in her garden on Wednesday 25 June, and if wet on 26 June. Tickets 2/-, 5pm to 7pm.
