Arrangements made for fetching collections after Pound Day. Rev EM Bald to fetch from Downend 3.30 on Saturday, 29 Oct, and from Stapleton on Monday morning. Mr Yeoman fetching from Winterbourne & Iron Acton on Monday & Mrs Tuckett from Frenchay.

Mr Hewitt, Frenchay, in response to an appeal from Miss Fox, promised to double his sisters’ subscriptions (at present each one guinea).

A very large present for Pound has already been received from newcomers to the neighbourhood, Captain & Mrs Barton (The Cairn) and Mrs Elliott was asked to thank them in person.

Mrs Gladys Shuter, Rythdale, Yate, admitted 18 Oct at 30/- a week, plus 30/- maternity fee.
