Mrs Sidney Anstey, Winterbourne, admitted 1 Jan at 30/- a week plus 30/- maternity fee. Her baby girl was born 4 Jan.

Mrs Alice Pullen had applied for admission to maternity ward in March at the same rate she paid in 1933. But after consideration it was resolved that the usual fee of 30/- a week plus 30/- maternity fee should not be reduced except for very exceptional cases.

There is an obstruction in the chimney in Matron’s new room. And the water did not run properly from the back yard. Also a new tap was needed in the Maternity Ward, and a “mixer” should be installed there. Enquiries to be made of Rowe & Co.

The Name of Humphries & Oke, St Phillips, was given as makers of letters suitable for putting up the name of the hospital on the outside wall. A representative to attend next meeting with samples.
