Mrs Bowen spoke very strongly against Nurse Tanner’s treatment of Mrs Bethel.

Florence Balham admitted 21 March and assessed at her Insurance.

Mrs A Parker was re-admitted 22 March and assessed at 21/- a week as before.

Mrs Lucy Parker of Quarry Barton was admitted 25 March at 15/- a week, pending enquiries being made as to her husband’s being on the Contributory Hospital Scheme.

Mrs Elliott asked for permission to destroy old bills and un-necessary documents. Agreed.

Miss Burnett was interviewed & it was decided to engage a second Nurse from tonight till Saturday, when Nurse Taylor was due to arrive.

Mrs Cave, the resigning Matron, was asked to come and say goodbye to the Committee.; and she gave Miss Burnett some help in the various arrangements of the hospital.
