AMEN.

Dear Reader,

As we commemorate the day of the reincarnation of the Christspirit in the body of Jesus, we receive new proof of the strength and power which emanate from the Centre of the Cosmos, to grant people on earth spiritual joy and happiness. It is, however, true that under the influence of false prophets the reincarnated Christ is not always recognized as such and that there are still people waiting for him to descend. But nearly all Creeds accept the Christ as a Prophet or the Messiahs, as the Redeemer, the Savior or as the Son of God. And this Christspirit has as Jesus withstood all attacks for about 2000 years now. His powerful radiation and the purity of His teaching propagated all over the earth and fulfill His mission for the reincarnated human spirits. He has persevered for about 2000 years, always held His own. The more the false prophets try to debase Him, the purer shines the Christ, full of love for friend and foe — unimpeachable — on the Altar of the Cosmos Sanctuary as well as in the hearts of all those people who harbours an Atom of God in their souls. Why then do we remember the reincarnation of the Spirit of Christ in the body of Jesus? Because the Christ has been reincarnated many a time previously — as a human being on earth — to show people the path of liberation and thus give them the opportunity to blend — as a spirit of light — into the Light of the Divine Father, the Creator of the Universe. The Spirit of Christ in conjunction with His Spiritual Brothers of the same High Spheres of evolution, are the prototype for all human spirits to attain Eternal Bliss in the spiritworld. Each of Christ's incarnations is proof of His Love for the human spirit, who travels the path of love and wisdom and who is trying to cleanse his aura and make it shiny bright to reach the source of Light, from which derives its origin. The Source of Lights in the Cosmos, the Radiation of the Divine Father GOD. The Creator gave the human spirits their own free will to either accept or refuse the Christspirit. But all evolved human beings accept and worship Him. People, who do not accept Him, are not aware of the fact that they — in previous incarnations in another human bodv — have done homage and venerated Him. It is certainly true that spiritualism venerates and does homage to the Christspirit, but it is just as true that True Spiritualism venerates and does homage to all prophets, to whatever creed or nation they might belong. Spiritualism thus honors and venerates: Moses and the prophets, Zoroaster, Gautama Buddha, Lao-Tse, Socrates, Christ, Mohammed, Allan Kardec, etc. It is also a fact that true spiritualism respects the Divine Service of every religion — and everybody, to whatever church or religion he might belong, is welcome and able to attend spiritual church and lectures of spiritual philosophy. We celebrate Christmas in December in remembrance of the birthday of Jesus, in whom the Christ-spirit reincarnated. Those who do not acknowledge Him as the Redeemer and Liberator will still have time to accept Him for their evolution. They will get permission — after the death of their physical body — for a new reincarnation to overcome the mistakes, sins and blasphemies of all their previous lives and try again to follow the path, shown them before by the Christspirit during His various incarnations on earth. How great is GOD'S Compassion and how great is the Forgiveness of the Christspirit? Is there any person on earth to compare with His Love and His Devotion? How many are called to listen to His Voice? How many are called to choose the path shown by Him by His manifold examples? Small is the number of chosen ones, whereas the number of the lost ones is high indeed. May all take care not to belong to the lost ones. Follow the path opened for all by the Christ in His various reincarnations. Remember now at Christmas time, mainly the Christspirit, but also all prophets, all Leaders of High Creeds and also the father of modern spiritualism: Allan Kardec. The Christspirit expresses Peace and Love, cultivate Love, so as to have Peace in your own heart and to all peoples on earth. If every spiritualist will practice these instructions, it will prove that spiritualism is not only serving Christianity, but everyone, to whatever creed or church he may belong, and that the True Spiritualism is in the Service of the Creator, the Lord God, but not in the service of any earthly church. Respect all creeds and religions. Nothing here on earth is perfect. Each seeks his way to perfection and evolution. Be sure, the human spirit is not perfect either, and everything it does is an endeavor to rise to perfection — that, first of all, the human spirit must try to evolve, in order to he ultimately perfect. Love and wisdom are the roads to perfection — from here hails peace on earth, among all peoples. Let peace grow in your hearts and spread thoughts of peace unto all people s as to reach eternal Bliss. Christ shows you the path in one or other of His many incarnations — follow Him — then you are surely hall-marked for eternal Life in the Light of your Divine Father. Bring these teachings to tliose who are able to understand the truth. Reject all obstacles, just as Christ did in His many reincarnations. Carry the holy tire of enthusiasm and idealism of the prophets in your own hearts. Christ was also a prophet on earth, to overcome the evil which threatens the reincarnated human spirit with destruction and annihilation. Small is tlie number who listen to His words. You listen to Him and the Gates of Heaven will be open to you.

Amen.
Dear Reader,

Every human being on earth has a certain belief in a Superior Being, a Superior Power. But there are people who, in the ties of physical wellbeing, never think of such a Being. There are those whose whole life is — quite carelessly and thoughtlessly — given only to pleasure and luxuries. They react as to the lash of a whip if any unforeseen calamity arises, then they lift their eyes and may send an ardent, deeply felt prayer to heaven. A child in difficulties hurries to his parents to cry and tell of his grief. The human spirit flees to its Spiritual Father to ask for mercy, for forgiveness of its long standing aside, its egoism, its passion for earthly attractions, its neglect to purify and to advance. And, after this passionate prayer, the human being keeps to himself and prays in solitary seclusion. It is not necessary for others to know of his praying, he realises that in prayer he is not alone — that every human being has to suffer and to bear his burden and — sooner or later — looks up to God for help and support. His prayer will blend with many other prayers and. still later, he will not feel ashamed any longer to pray in public where others will witness his repentance for trespassing and offences committed. He suddenly feels conscious of guilt and feels doom to be close. It is sometimes the specter of unemployment, of hunger and misery, of legal prosecution for some rash deed. Fate knocks, he cannot avert it and the very last hope is a humble prayer to God — the Lord God, whom he slighted, and whom he evaded for temporal, earthly subterfuges, as long as he expected this source of temporal enjoyment never to dry up — but which suddenly did end and suddenly cut short, only to be seen from afar, but not to be used any longer. How miserable such a person feels. But this state of misery has taught him, through prayer, to devote his attention to God. He feels deeply humble and humiliated. Remorse gnaws at his soul. He gives a solemn promise to change, to improve and be modest in his desires, that he might be spared the disgrace and not be dishonored in the eyes of his friends because of his corruption. He realises he was a weakling and at fault, a coward, a prodigal, and expected all earthly gratifications to last to the end, and that death was this end; that everything was finished in death, that therefore the only possible solution would be to enjoy whatever there was to enjoy and if — in all probability — life should go on after death, in the invisible world, one could always do one's utmost to be good and serve God. One thing he did not then know and that is: That God granted reincarnation in a human body and thus permitted him to compensate — as human being — by bodily and mental suffering, for former offences; to dispense — during a new life on earth — with all his shortcomings, to acquire value and virtues, to purify the radiation of his spirit — to fight evil amongst human beings and serve them by knowledge, intelligence, goodness and love. He can do all this also in the spiritworld, where he can serve, give love and serve God! But in the spiritworld he is aware of all his actions; he works with calculation, he can, with diplomacy, turn to his duties. As reincarnated human being he was ignorant of his behavior in former lives in the spiritworld, whereas as human being, if he is good and helpful, he is that from natural prompting, natural urge. He is ignorant of a goal which might be reached therewith. Then he is good because according to his spiritual evolution he cannot be otherwise but good — because the Atom of God, which resides in him, has grown stronger and more vigorous than all worldly wishes and desires. His earthly wishes do not go further than necessities, because he knows now that he cannot take any material possessions to the spiritworld. He takes only his love, love for his family, his friends and neighbors, as well as wisdom which he acquired on earth, to the Cosmos. He is not interested to arrange for his earthly belongings after his passing. Let happen what may — let his descendants control them and try not to be slaves to them and not to be proud, egoistic and arrogant. Earthly possessions were a test for him — let them be a test and a touch-stone to his heirs! He knows now that the experiences which he obtained on earth, the mental struggles which he suffered, the tears he shed — were for a purpose and that was to improve as a human being, and as an improved human being, become an improved spirit which will pass on all its newly acquired wisdom to other spirits, to help them, armed with new courage and new strength, to prepare for a new reincarnation, which will aid them to rise higher and to improve more. He understands now, in his improved condition, the meaning of those words of the Christspirit, who — as Jesus — has said: "You will still have to be born repeatedly before you will be able to enter the Kingdom of my Father". He understands also what the Christspirit meant as Alien Kardec explained with the words: "To be born, to die, to be reborn and always to improve is the Divine Law". He desires to bring the Light to the people on earth, to enlighten and to teach them that without Love there cannot be Peace on earth and no blissfulness in the spirit world — that mysticism eases life on earth — but that materialism makes it more difficult. The human spirit who reaches this plane of evolution, is now a mystic and an idealist. He will now gladly start a new life on earth. He craves for it and feels this urge to be a kind of testimony which will soon be substantiated. To serve and to sacrifice is his standard now. He feels that he has come closer and ever closer to the Divine Light, and that each reincarnation brings him closer and closer to the aim of his striving. God-Father looks on with satisfaction. He provides spiritual strength to be taken to the earth: energy, courage, perseverance, trust, love. helpfulness, submission to the Will of God. The human

spirit is overflowing with admiration for the love, the helpfulness and the compassion which radiate from God Almighty. He knows what the purpose of his life is: to approach the Lord, ultimately to blend with Him, as a drop of water with the sea or vapor with the air. May he keep all his wisdom on earth and in the spiritworld and may he show many the road to evolution and to Eternal Bliss.

Amen.
Dear Reader,

People plead for mercy, ask forgiveness for their sins and errors in their prayers, but actually they do not realise what spiritual suffering they may have caused people whom they have wronged. People on earth see only with their human eyes and therefore do not realise how often they hurt other hearts, nor the fact that the human spirit can suffer much grief and sorrow. He, who has suffered mental grief, might ask himself: Is not this type of suffering much harder to bear than bodily pain? A human being might suffer in body and soul — a discarnated spirit only suffers spiritually, although it is well able to feel intensely human bodily sufferings. Human sufferings, both physically and spiritually, leads to cleansing, leads to the path which each spirit — before its new incarnation — has asked for, to suffer as penitence for previous failings. Everyone, who is of good will and good intentions, wishes to draw closer and ever closer to his Creator. To realise this wish, he has to purify his spiritual vibrations; the dark glimmer of his aura will have to become white-silvery-golden — to blend eventually into God's Golden Light. The metamorphosis is only achieved by a long succession of reincarnations as a human being, by living in different families. among different people and nations, by passing through many experiences, by changing from dark races to a white race — and then at long last attain the highest point of purification and the most bright and shining vibrations, which now grant him Eternal Life — as spirit — in the shelter of GOD, the Father of his spirit. It is only human to ask the Creator for pity and compassion, to ask for His Divine Love. It is only human to beg forgiveness for wrongdoing, done consciously or unawares, but it is nevertheless not the right attitude, asking to lift the suffering and the misery, to stop disease, to remove grief or pain, struggle and conflict. It is not the right attitude to ask for paradise here on earth, wishing to live in pleasure and luxury. People, who request all this, forget that this earth is a planet of penitence. Accepting the conviction, that everyone of good intentions has asked — before his rebirth — for a definite type of suffering to compensate for his previous errors and shortcomings — it seems more to the point to pray for help and assistance, to bear his cross of suffering. This was the attitude of Christ in the darkest hours of His life on earth — and prophets prayed similarly in their difficult moments. This manner of prayer is more acceptable to the Almighty than praying for pleasure and happiness. To ask for a reward whilst living on earth as a human being forfeits this claim in later life when in the spiritworld. But man being an egoist, cares for nothing else than for his own physical welfare, for temporary ease and luxury, free from sickness. Everybody meets with suffering — this is the Law of reincarnation. Some suffer on account of material loss, some suffer the loss of their life-companion, others are grieved because they have not met the companion whom they expected, many are desolate because they have grown old and helpless and as there are still many things which they would have liked to achieve. All — even the greatest sinner — in moments of despair and despondency — lift up their hearts to God, ask for pity and help, for support and shelter. They pray for special strength to be able to do unfinished tasks and avert their suffering. Very few ask for strength and endurance to enable them to bear with submission the suffering which they actually asked for themselves. This would be the right attitude. The human spirit cannot attain its ascension and evolution by rebellion. To rebel against the Laws of God is to rebel against oneself — because he asked before his new reincarnation for everything which is now happening to him, requested as ransom, tribute and recompense for evil committed in previous lives — to cleanse his vibrations and enable him to rise to the ranks of God's spirits. He knows nothing of all this as a reincarnated being, and this is right because this knowledge would mislead him. Goodness, love and wisdom should radiate from him as a natural quality, only his own endeavor, sacrifice and submission to the Divine Father, by his own free will, will enable him to achieve this task. Each of you should beg the Father of your spirit to give you this strength and this endurance to bear with submission all suffering with which you will meet during your life on earth. You will feel uplifted after each such endurance, each time your aura will be cleaner and brighter and you reach closer and closer to the Light of God. Look for support through prayer and meditation. Then you will feel Divine Strength rising in you and your life will become easier and lighter. Such indeed — as pointed out here — shall be your life in All Eternity. The main condition is: never hurt anybody, he is a spirit as you are, notwithstanding whether he be your friend or your foe. Do not hurt anyone's body, physical pain will be converted into physical ailments. The wish, or the act to hurt, is a consequence of hate — and he, who hates, sows vengeance. Hate means: to wish somebody evil and bad luck. Vengeance means: to do evil and bring disaster to others. Both are depravities . Nothing retards the uplifting of the human spirit as much as hate and vengeance. Nothing holds him nearer to the earth and away from his evolution. However, the purpose of human life is to sever the spirit from this planet of atonement, to prepare it to reach at last the Eternal Bliss of God. Whatever evil a human being commits towards others, he will reap twofold, and it will bring him far more suffering than whatever he caused to himself. May your good deeds enable you to walk the right path.

AMEN.
Dear Reader,

Many people, living on earth, are physically deformed. Some received these infirmities by accident during work, road accidents, war injuries or rebellion. Some are born with a physical defect; others became disabled without any such accident. Most of these are caused by nervous derangements which result in infirmities of the body. You have been told that the physical body is but the reflection of the spirit which dwells in this body. Many deformities of cripples and other unfortunate people are verily the reflection of their spirit. Everything which is happening is the effect of a cause and everything which you notice in a human being — noble or ignoble — is confirmed by the expression in the human eyes, his features, his way of speaking, personal life or attitude towards his fellow-beings. In all this you observe — like a reflection — the kind of spirit which inhabits this particular body. Should the expression of this spirit give you the feeling that it is a very low one, will this give you the right to cast stones at all infirm and crippled persons? By no means — you may error considerably in your judgement. Most probably, you, too, have lived in such a deformed body in one or other of your previous incarnations. An invalid or deformed body is not always the expression of incorrigibility. It may be — or it may not be — the personification of a low spirit — but it may well be the sign of atonement and of repentance of former wrongdoings. Any indication of incorrigibility may be detected in the human being — in his features, in his private life, his conversation, in the people with whom he associates. You detect by his base conduct the proof of his evil — but also, whether he still harbours any good intentions or a feeling of pity towards those who have less advantages he himself enjoys. You might get the conviction that possibly he may be able to adjust himself if he would apply the necessary willpower and sufficient perseverance. Many of these unfortunate disabled people endure a hard and difficult life and you — healthy and fortunate ones — must do your best to sustain, to bear and to brighten their lives. Their circumstances in this life mean repentance of previous ones — repentance and the attempt to cleanse and to purify their aura from all dark spots and to make it clear and bright. They have asked for these conditions before their present reincarnation and now received what they requested: physical deformity which calls forth dislike or pity in their surroundings. Their spirit is now repenting for former misdeeds — wantonness — haughtiness — dishonesty — hate — or other such wrong-doings. Spirits, who in their former life have been rulers and as such treated their subjects hardly and unjustly, even maltreated or murdered them, might — after their passing into the cosmos — feel the tremendous wrong which they committed because of their pride and haughtiness. They feel deep repentance and ask — or their next reincarnation —for a life of humiliation, disapproval, of dislike and pity — to atone and to compensate for these former misdeeds. Could anyone disregard or neglect those unfortunates? Look into their eyes — they will avoid yours; they are shy, depressed and grieved. They live in humiliation and have no friends. They do not know why they are unfortunate, but they are resigned and not rebellious. If occasionally you would dare to look into their eyes, you will read submission, peace and hope for the future. They are composed and calm and will not hanker after other peoples possessions. Never think that on account of their disability they will have no opportunity for dissipation or wantonness — there are sufferers of both sexes — still, the one will hardly increase the Karma of the other. By nature they are shy and distant. They bear the burden of their life — ignorant of the cause and consequence of their suffering. They will bear their cross with perseverance until they reach their goal. Should one reincarnation not suffice, they will ask for another one and still another — until they are fully cleansed and fit for their spirit to advance. From this, you will realise that the vibrations of the spirit have their reflections in the physical body, also know that physical infirmities often betray the stamp of a degenerate or the presence of a low spirit, but nevertheless realise many of those inflicted ones are treading the path of repentance and humiliation to compensate for former misdeeds, and try to gain forgiveness, cleansing and evolution. Condemn nobody on account of his physical infirmities. People forget so easily. Let your subconscious lead you, if you feel unsure whether to help or not. Many disabled persons are materially better off than you — if you help those, you aid an unworthy one and therewith you deny yourself; but if on the other hand, you refuse help to somebody worthy and in need, you not only hurt this unfortunate one who leads so hard a life, but wrong yourself as well. Therefore, keep in mind: There are many disabled people, unworthy of your help, who are very low or even unchangeable, who only speculate upon their own laziness and sloth and depend on your pity for them. Very few noble spirits have asked an incarnation of deformity, humiliation, abasement and consumption. Help all those who are worthy. Find out whether this being with physical deformities harbours a spirit of God or of the underworld. But — on the other hand — never forget that God is Love and Compassion, that you bear in yourself an Atom of God, that by the good deeds you do on earth, this Atom of God will increase in beauty — until — at long last — it will enable you to reach the Realm and join the spirits close to GOD.

AMEN.
Dear Reader,

You heard about maimed and sick bodies — you will therefore have expected to hear also about sick spirits. The average person knows much about sick and disabled bodies, but a trained psychologist knows the strange truth that bodily diseases (excluding accidents as cause of invalidity) are closely related to the mental disposition of the afflicted person. A certain type of "marked" persons have a very difficult character. People will remark: "His parents were too gentle with him, they spoilt him, he should rather have been sent to boarding school where he would have learned to respect his parents and teachers and taught order and discipline". This is not the right type of criticism, because the unfortunate person is born with the tendency for wrong-doing and depravity. And the frailness of his body is the physical sign of his mental disposition — the mirror of his spirit. Virtue and vice do not belong to the physical body, but to the soul — they are the expression of the spirit. Just as the body possesses organs for its functioning, so are virtue and vice organs of the spirit. But the experiences during his life as human being might enable him to change his behavior, change his imperfect organs into perfected ones. This metamorphosis, however, would change his spirit in a similar way, as medical treatment would change his bodily ailments. People ,who are able only to see with their human eyes, will feel responsible for errors of their spirit. All suffering of the body, nevertheless, stamps a mark on the spirit which lives in this body, and is a lesson to him from which he will profit. If a body has to undergo suffering as a punishment, the spirit will feel the pain, because actually the body would not feel the pain without a spirit dwelling in it. Pain, inflicted on a dead body, gives no reaction and is not felt. But as long as a spirit dwells in a body, this body will feel pain and may induce the spirit to transform. The more understanding a spirit acquires, the better will his spiritual outlook become and the finer his vibrations. With each reincarnation his vibrations will become lighter and clearer, his glance more open, more kind, and a world of love and devotion will radiate from him. In such cases the body is the mirror of the soul. In analyzing this message you will establish the fact that the spirit — invisible to the human eye — may be deformed or infirm. You might be able to discern a fair amount of virtues or vices in the human spirit, as well as you are able to see many infirmities in a human body. Each spirit is an entity in the spiritworld — a life force with a distinct form. The life force has as vehicles virtues and vices, which take a fixed form. But many of the vehicles are imperfect and the spirit can try to improve. Such improvement and transformation gives rise to evolution, which the spirit is seeking and will find after many consecutive reincarnations. The spirit, through experiences, disillusions and miscalculations incessantly changes its spiritual form and ideas. Goodwill and perseverance develop in this human spirit love for the Creator and His Creation — compassion for the less favored — cooperating with the servants of God and those who look for advancement and wisdom. He develops virtues, which change him and cause his vibrations to shine and radiate and help him to climb higher and higher until he reaches complete purification. Then he has conquered all his vices and harbours virtues only — all his vehicles are perfect and noble. His special vehicles are energy, endurance, love, sacrifice and wisdom. The Spiritualistic Teachings are the road to perfection for the human spirit: follow this path and remember that bodily defects are mostly the mirror of spiritual defects. Teach your fellow-beings how to work for the cleansing of their spiritual organs, they are their virtues. This is the road to advancement, purification and evolution.

AMEN.
