Course Expectations and Grading Total of 400 points Attendance and Participation: [10% or 40 points]
Students are expected to be present, to arrive on-time, to have completed the assigned reading, and to participate actively in class discussions. Students should also bring assigned primary readings to class. Failure to meet any of these expectations will result in a grade reduction. For primary source readings, students will often be asked to post on Carmen. This will be counted for credit in this category. Carmen contributions will not be accepted late. Other in-class projects and quizzes will also count toward the number of points in this category.
