Esther M. Dillman, 96, Twelve Mile, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Miller's Merry Manor, Logansport.
She was born Jan. 11, 1909 in Miami County to Ammon and Della Bridenstein DeWald. On Sept. 14, 1927, she married Carl Teel Dillman at the home of the late Rev. C.F. Golden near Denver. He preceded her in death Jan. 27, 1997.
Dillman was a member of Corinth Brethren Church, Twelve Mile, and the Women's Missionary Society. She also was the last member of the Twelve Mile Grandmother's Club.
Surviving are four sons, Marvin L. Dillman and wife Harriet, Logansport, Ronald L. Dillman and wife Janet, Twelve Mile, Carl Edward Dillman and wife Shirley, Plymouth, and Robert G. Dillman and wife Linda, Logansport; 15 grandchildren, Cathy Gunter, Terry Dillman, Kevin Dillman, Debra Holliman, Dawn Pickens, Dana Dillman, Cindy McIntosh, Jeff Dillman, Brad Dillman, Pam Johnson, Mark Dillman, Lynette Ray, Lisa Montgomery, Leslie Dillman and Lora Redweik; four step-granddaughters, 29 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two grandchildren, Steve Dillman and Tina Dillman; one great-grandson, Klayton Long; two brothers, Elvin DeWald and William DeWald; and a sister, Thelma Brubaker.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Corinth Brethren Church, Twelve Mile with the Rev. Paul Reeder and the Rev. George Hapner officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McClain Funeral Home, 3500 West State Road 16, Denver, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
