Macroeconomic Policy is a second year course for students in the MSc in Economic. This course takes the Business Cycle course, taught in Spring 2008, as a starting point and develops new topics, dealing with the macroeconomic implications of labor and credit market frictions.
Students are required to present a critical discussion of one of the (marked) papers in the reading list, which will count for 50% of the final grade. The remaining 50% of the grade is based on homework assignments. Class attendance is mandatory to be enrolled in this class. The retake exam consists of a 2 hours written (closed book) exam
