  1. Educated citizens, familiar with the big questions as well as the mechanics of our lawmaking process, are the foundation of our system of government.

  1. First Amendment Rights such as free speech are the cornerstone of our democracy.



  1. First Amendment Rights are not absolute, generate conflict, and are open to judicial interpretation.
