Homework/Extension: Choose the second literary text you will use for the prompt, outside of the in-class text.
Evidence of Accomplishment/Student work: Students will have an annotated text (a passage from a literary work that can apply to the prompt, complete with margin notes, underlining, sentences that show comprehension of small text details and questions that they are asking of the text. In short, students will create an annotated text to demonstrate different types of engagement with the piece, based on the writing prompt (for Day 5).
