Using the documents provided in your text: Comparing American Voices, pp64-65, answer the following questions:
In specific terms, what did the magistrates of Massachusetts Bay believe to be the prime causes of the war?
Make an argument for when the war began. Which documents provide the most compelling evidence and why?

Explain why the 1765 Stamp Act and 1773 Tea Act were received so negatively in the colonies. Describe and explain the colonials’ response to these measures.
Three extra credit points will be added to those essays that attach a thorough outline.
