Identify the “slant” on the scriptural text that emerges through exegesis of the metaphor

Adam and Eve turning away from God, believing they could do life without God, has had deep and far reaching implications for our relationships in the world, not only between husband and wife, but I believe in all relationships. The idea that this is part of the curse that will be lifted and forever done away with indicates that our relationships on the New Earth will be much better than they ever could be here on the present earth.

Our ability to love our spouses on the New Earth will be much greater than ever possible here on the present earth. I believe this will also be the same way for all of our relationships on the New Earth. All of our relationships on the New Earth will be greatly enhanced as we live together and love without sin being a part of our lives.

Another aspect of the curse being lifted is that there will no longer be any physical death. This part of the curse is found in Genesis 3:19 when God was revealing the result of the fall to the man, “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Physical death has been a barrier to us every meeting saints from long ago. On the New Earth with the curse of death will be forever lifted and done away with. On the New Earth we will be united with saints of long ago that we have never met in addition to this saints we have known in our lifetimes here on this present earth. Imagine the opportunity to be able to sit down with Abraham or Sarah and hear them share stories of their time. We will be able to share life for all the rest of eternity with ALL of the saints who have gone before us.
