Harvey, John

In a true light. Read by Stephen Greif, 7 hours 20 minutes. TB 12902.

When Sloane, a successful forger, is released from prison after taking part in a high-profile art scam, he finds a letter from the woman with whom he had a passionate affair in his youth. She tells him that years ago she gave birth to his daughter, Connie. She implores Sloane to find her and make peace between them. He agrees, but when he eventually finds her she is in a highly charged relationship with Vincent Delaney, a man whom the police believe has killed once and could kill again. Sloane has to decide whether to walk away or stay and fight for her. And the more Delaney feels cornered, the more unpredictable and dangerous he becomes. Contains strong language. TB 12902.
