Accessible Britain Challenge to bring together the energy and creativity of the public, private and voluntary sectors to make our communities more inclusive and accessible. We want businesses up and down our high streets to take small steps that can make them more accessible to the 12.2 million disabled people in the UK. This in turn increases employment opportunities for disabled people. We’ve seen all sorts of innovative ideas, from Dorset police’s hate crime reporting app to the upgraded Autism connect social network. Would you like to nominate an organisation for the Accessible Britain awards?
