The School/Subject Area is responsible for:

      1. Supporting Co-ordinators and providing clear guidelines of all academic expectations.

      2. Ensuring information about subsequent study arrangements is transmitted to Study Abroad students to ensure that they are not disadvantaged because of their distance from the Home University.

      3. Special consideration must be given to Exchange arrangements where standardised credit conversion models such as the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) model cannot be applied. If the Exchange is managed at School level (e.g. the International MBA) then a designated person, covering the work of the Co-ordinator and the International Office, within the School will make arrangements directly with the students.
