Citizenship 02 Travel Guide Template


Pamphlets are often a single sheet folded into thirds. This creates six panels to display information. You may use this template to plan or create your travel guide. Replace the text in parentheses with your own ideas and information. Have fun and design it with color and images!

Panels Guide


  1. Title—Your Name, Date, and Instructor. Include a catchy title to grab your reader's attention.

  2. Use this panel to describe the four U.S. regions.

  3. Use this panel to describe a landmark for your first region. Be sure to include why you chose this landmark.

  4. Use this panel to describe a landmark for your second region. Be sure to include why you chose this landmark.

  5. Use this panel to describe a landmark for your third region. Be sure to include why you chose this landmark.

  6. Use this panel to describe a landmark for your fourth region. Be sure to include why you chose this landmark.

Ellis Island

During your visit to the Northeast, make sure to visit Ellis Island! This historic landmark is where many immigrants to the United States first arrived. Millions of people, most from Europe, entered New York through Ellis Island to start new lives. Today it is a museum devoted to the memory of those who walked its halls.
