Explain that the Hindu religion is based on an earlier religion called Brahmanism. The earliest texts written were called “Vedas” but are hard for the people to understand. Two epic poems have been written to help in this matter.
Read a summary of the Mahabharata, the most famous of the epics of Hinduism.
