Scholarly significance of the conference: We are aware of the fact that resettlement of populations basically represents movement of the population in which people move within or beyond the border of a state or states with similar or identical economical conditions, similar or identical political or religious laws, having serious economical, cultural and population consequences. From this aspect, we understand resettlements of populations as a fundamental migration problem, which has been tackled as an interdisciplinary issue since the early 21st century. The largest representation involves sociologists, political scientists, economists, social geographers, social anthropologists, ethnologists, demographists, lawyers, perhaps even psychologists and urbanists, but also (or most importantly) historians. So, although the scholarly working meeting presumes a historical analysis of the tackled issue, it welcomes participation of all scholarly disciplines represented on the academic and university ground.
