  1. Select one of the major battles listed to report on. Discuss who was involved (include important individuals), give significant details of the battle, and discuss the results of the battle and its impact on the war.

  1. Go to the “biographies page”, select 3 Americans and 3 Mexicans and briefly discuss their contributions to US-Mexican War.

It is a really cool interactive map that shows you the progression of American expansionism during this era, with all kinds of interesting facts, etc. Select any one point from the “before the war” tab on the map and summarize what you learned. Do the same for any one point from the “war years” and “after the war” tabs and do the same thing.
