Franchise Activity

EHC franchises out some provision to smaller FECs in the region

NEHC will not participate in franchise activity.

UCEH will formally franchise in its students from the ‘parent’ institutions – funding, numbers and validations will run through these institutions. It will not franchise out any activity (this would be serial franchising).

Data System

EHC uses Education Business Systems. In preparation for the split in August 2007, FE and HE data systems were split in 2006/07.

NEHC will continue to use Education Business Systems.

UCEH will use the SITS student administration system for the collection and management of data. The system will allow for analysis of progression, particularly from with the East Heath area.
