EHC has run a number of non-prescribed HE courses (non-HEFCE funded). Many of these have been converted gradually to UnivA validated courses in preparation for the split of provision in August 2007.
NEHC will continue to run a very limited amount of non-prescribed HE – such as the Association of Accounting Technicians (Technician Level) which is a Level 4 qualification.
UCEH will not run any non-prescribed HE with funding sources other than HEFCE. All courses which formally came into this category have now either been validated as UnivA/B courses or will run as ‘full-cost’ courses without additional funding.
