Document Shuffle: Students will review 10-15 documents that provide positions for either Jeffersonian Democracy or Jacksonian democracy. They will be asked to review the documents within their groups and to place them into categories. The group will develop a thesis statement to support their stance on the documents and report out to the group. The class will then select a thesis statement and outline the DBQ as a guided practice.
