Evaluation
criteria





  • Find out if the students understand and appreciate the importance of geography and the Nile River in the development of the Egyptian civilisation.

  • Check that they can describe the society in the first city-states.

  • See if they recognise the main characteristics of Mesopotamian culture.

  • Confirm that they can identify the activities of the different social groups in Ancient Egypt.

  • Evaluate if they know how everyday life was in Egyptian villages and cities.

  • Assess if they recognise the main differences between Egyptian and Mesopotamian temples.

  • Ensure that they understand the Egyptian religion and their beliefs in the afterlife.

  • Verify that they can describe the evolution of Egyptian tombs throughout history.
