Monday, April 29:

Frameworks: EA.2.AH7-8.6, TPS.4.AH.7-8.2, 8.1, 8.3, 8.4

CCSS: RH8.2, RH8.4, RH8.7, WH8.7

Goal and Objectives: Students will read and discuss material related to Legend of the Bowie Knife, the Banking Crisis, Knife Fights in the Legislature, Trail of Tears, Legend of the Arkansas Traveler, Manifest Destiny, The Mexican War, California Gold Rush, Antebellum Economy, and King Cotton.

Assignments: Teacher will put questions on the Smartboard for students to copy. With the time allowed the students will popcorn read pages 100-102 while answering/discussing the questions along the way.
Tuesday, April 30:

Frameworks: EA.2.AH7-8.6, TPS.4.AH.7-8.2, 8.1, 8.3, 8.4

CCSS: RH8.2, RH8.4, RH8.7, WH8.7

Assignments: Teacher will put questions on the Smartboard for students to copy. With the time allowed the students will popcorn read pages 108-110 while answering/discussing the questions along the way.
Thursday, May 2:
