Monday, April 15:

Frameworks: EA.2.AH7-8.6, TPS.4.AH.7-8.2, 8.1, 8.3, 8.4

CCSS: RH8.2, RH8.4, RH8.7, WH8.7

Goal and Objectives: Students will read and discuss material related to a Secret Treaty, The Louisiana Purchase, A New Era in Arkansas, New Ideals, and Three Flags in Three Weeks.

Assignments: Teacher will put questions on the Smartboard for students to copy. With the time allowed the students will popcorn read pages 70-74 while answering/discussing the questions along the way.
Tuesday, April 16:

Thursday, April 18:

Goal and Objectives: Students will read and discuss material related to Frontier Arkansas, Building of Log Homes, The War of 1812, The Treaty of Ghent, Laying out of Townships, Settling the Frontier, Religious Awakening, Arkansas’ Indian Lands, The Dwight Commission ,becoming a Territory, and the Missouri Compromise.

Assignments: Teacher will put questions on the Smartboard for students to copy. With the time allowed the students will popcorn read pages 80-88 while answering/discussing the questions along the way. Continue this section Monday.
