The Scottish Archive Network offers a great deal of information. It holds the emigration archives. Simple searches allow you to develop further reading. The virtual vault is worth a visit.

This website offers excellent resources for the Immigrants and Exiles topic. It will be adaptable for use in Higher. It incorporates newspapers, personal accounts, songs, pictures and official documents. Areas of focus are Scots abroad and Irish in Scotland.
This website is useful for additional images. Try searching immigration/emigration. It is worth noting that many of the images pertain to ‘Britain’ as opposed to just Scotland.
Searching this site will unearth a great deal of material. Caution is needed as it covers British topics and does not focus only on Scotland.
