Assignment:

  • Select a subculture/counterculture to research in groups of 3-4

  • Counts as a project grade = test grade

  • Present information to class


What to Research:


Presentation:

  • Group will give an oral presentation in front of the class

  • 7-9 minute time limit.

  • Must have visual component (PPT, video, LARGE poster(s), etc..)

  • Be creative! Dress up, play music, bring food, etc….


Grade Rubric:

  • 30 pts. Substance and Content: is it factual and scholarly?

  • 20 pts. Organization: Did you include many or most of the important information? Time limit followed?

  • 10 pts. Clarity: Is information clear and understandable? Don’t use words you don’t know!

  • 10 pts. Visual: Was the visual of quality and nice to look at?

  • 10 pts. Speaking: Were your presentation skills effective? Voice? Posture?

  • 10 pts. Intangibles: Did you work well together? Are you having

fun?
