There are many alike myths about “Hercules” and “Achilles” and these are some. Similar to Hercules, Achilles is born mortal. Another similarity is that Hercules and Achilles are both natural heroes. In some manner Hercules and Achilles both kill someone or something. Both Hercules and Achilles became immortal. Hercules became immortal by doing the “12 labors”. Achilles becomes immortal because his mother dipped him in the River Styx. Same as everything else they are both a boy/man. See what I mean there are many alike myths about “Hercules” and “Achilles”.

Contrast

There are many different myths about the two heroes “Hercules” and “Achilles”. In contrast to Hercules, Achilles was part of the Greek force in the Trojan war, while Hercules had to do the “12 labors”. Different from Hercules, Achilles was dipped into the River Styx and Hercules was not. Another difference is that Hercules was trained. He was trained by Centaur Chiron and Achilles was not trained. Unlike Hercules Achilles is the son of Peleus and his mother is the Nymph Thetis. Hercules’s parents are Zeus and his mother is Aclecmen. However Hercules’s mother is a mortal on the other hand Achilles mother Nymph. Similar to what I said before there are many different myths about the Heroes “Hercules” and “Achilles”.
