The Young Associates of the Coral Gables Museum Celebrates America’s History with Happy Hour and Patriotic Trivia Contest
In the afterglow of the rockets’ red glare and the cold embers of family barbecues, keep the celebration alive with the Young Associates on July 5th at John Martin’s
June 26, 2012 (CORAL GABLES, FL) – The Young Associates of the Coral Gables Museum believes the Fifth of July is also a day to celebrate America’s history. Therefore, they are hosting a 5th of July Happy Hour and Trivia Night at John Martin's from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. To participate in the American History trivia contest, the cost is $20 for a team of five. All proceeds from the event benefit the Coral Gables Museum.
“The Young Associates is dedicated to raising awareness of the Coral Gables Museum and the history of the City Beautiful, and one way of achieving this objective is by providing exciting events for our members and the community,” said Cristina Mas, president of the Young Associates. “Our July 5 patriotic celebration is certain to become an annual event not to be missed.”
The team to answer the most trivia questions correctly wins a free membership to the Coral Gables Museum and other prizes.
All team members participating in the trivia contest will receive a free shot. And if you’re not up to speed on your American History, then don’t worry. Simply come and root for your favorite team while enjoying food and drink specials including $5 Cosmos, $5 Sam Adams Draft (22oz), Buckets of Beer, 5 for $15 (domestic), 5 for $20 (imported) and 5 for $20 (mix and match).
