The Women of Our Community Award and

ATHENA Leadership Award

NOMINATION INSTRUCTIONS

The ATHENA International mission is to support, develop, and honor women leaders, and is reflective of a quote attributed to Plato, “What is honored in a country will be cultivated there.” This quote has inspired our program’s format, as we will be honoring ALL of the women that submit a nomination form who are improving the quality of life for others in our community with an award of a “Woman of Our Community.” Honoring and recognizing these women will encourage others to follow in their footsteps and become great leaders in our community in the future. We will also have one recipient at the end of the dinner program that fits specifically to the criteria of the ATHENA Award, noting that this individual goes one more step by empowering and assisting women in our community.
