OTHER INFORMATION ON UNCONNECTED FAMILY 51 (BARROW/LEICESTER) continued
Note:

  • This family possibly comes from EDWIN 1847 of St Erth Family 4 (compare with age at death of EDWARD of this family born 1851 approx). EDWIN is recorded as having died in Middlesbrough and his brother THOMAS-THISTLETON of St Erth Family 4 is reported to have visited relations in Middlesbrough. Note the similar use of first names in the two families. All the EDWINs born in the correct period are in other families so no record of the birth in St Erth Family 4.

  • This family possibly fits into Unconnected Family 79 where there is also an EDWARD born 1850

  • Emma James marriage records are found for the period around the birth of the children but none with groom’s surname Tregenza or similar. She did not indicate the father’s name or occupation when the twins were born even though she used Tregenza as their surname and hers so perhaps she only married EDWARD prior to the birth of WILLIAM-JOHN.

  • No 1871 census found.

  • No GEORGE birth for relevant period found.

  • other records

  • WILLIAM-JOHN born June quarter 1876 Guisboro’

  • WILLIAM-THOMAS died 1876 age 0 Guisboro’

  • MARY-JANE died 1877 Barrow F district age 2
