Authorizes a pipeline right-of-way in Great Smoky Mountains NP, TN/NC – P.L. 107-223.

Authorizes an exchange of land between Prince William Forest Park and the Quantico Marine base (included in the FY 2003 Defense Authorization Act) – P.L. 107-314.

Civil War Battlefield Preservation grant program – P.L. 107-359.

Authorizes joint visitor center for Timpanogos Cave NM, UT and Forest Service (included in Timpanogos Land Exchange Act) – P.L. 107-329.
Fee authority:

Provides for an extension through FY 2002 of the authority of the Secretary of the Interior to obligate fees for a contract for transportation services at Zion National Park before the fees are received (included in the FY 2002 Interior Appropriations Act) – P.L. 107-63.

Extends the Recreation Fee Demonstration Program through September 30, 2004, while allowing expenditure of receipts from the fees through September 30, 2007 (included in the FY 2002 Interior Appropriations Act) – P.L. 107-63.
Natural resource authorities:

Authorizes holders of grazing permits for lands in Lake Roosevelt NRA as of March 31, 1997 to renew the permits for the lifetime of the holder or 20 years, whichever is less (included in the FY 2002 Interior Appropriations Act) – P.L. 107-63.

Requires that the number of vessel entries allowed into Glacier Bay NP and Pres. Be the same in calendar year 2000 pending completion of an EIS (included in the FY 2002 Interior Appropriations Act) – P.L. 107-63.

Provides authority for control of livestock on federal lands (included in the farm bill) – P.L. 107-171.


Cultural resource authorities:

Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Education through Cultural and Historical Organizations Act (included as part of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001) – P.L. 107-110.



Miscellaneous other authorities:

Authorizes law enforcement officers to provide security at dams, facilities and resources under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Reclamation – P.L. 107-69.

Authorizes federal employees to retain frequent flyer miles obtained at federal government expense for personal use (included in the FY 2002 Defense Authorization Act) – P.L. 107-107.

Authorizes leasing of certain housing units by the Army at the Presidio in Golden Gate NRA, CA (included in the FY 2002 Defense Authorization Act) – P.L. 107-107.

Designation of a national memorial in Mojave National Preserve commemorating U.S. participation in World War I (included in FY 2002 Defense Appropriations Act) – P.L. 107-117.

Reiterates that the Director of the National Park Service is a member of the Board of Directors of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (included in FY 2002 Defense Authorization Act) – P.L. 107-117.

Authorizes NPS to enter into a cooperative agreement with the Golden Gate National Parks Association to provide fee-based education, interpretive, and visitor services at Crissy Field and Fort Point (included in the FY 2002 Interior Appropriations Act) – P.L. 107-63.

Codifies Title 40 of the U.S. Code involving public buildings, property, and works – P.L. 107-217.

Authorizes an increase in appropriations for development at Vancouver NHR – P.L. 107-342.

Extends the authorization for the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network for an additional five years through FY 2008 (included in the North American Wetlands Conservation Reauthorization Act) – P.L. 107-308.
