Stephen B. married Lydia BEECHER. Born on June 10, 1805 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

2. Cyrus Beecher COOK. Born on March 31, 1823 in Forge Springs, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Cyrus Beecher died in Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky on November 14, 1880; he was 57.
On November 19, 1844 when Cyrus Beecher was 21, he married Permelia Catherine KNIGHT, daughter of Sam KNIGHT & Catherine KRIST. Born on December 9, 1828 in Washington County, Maryland. Permelia Catherine died in Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky in June 1905; she was 76.

On April 18, 1859 James Albert married Sarah WOLFORD.
They had one child:

4. Josephine COOK. Born on June 9, 1845 in Pennsylvania.
On November 14, 1867 when Josephine was 22, she married Jacob A. WOLFORD, son of Peter WOLFORD & Mary CARL. Born on December 3, 1841 in Pennsylvania.

JACOB A. WOLFORD, liquor dealer and distiller; P. O. Cynthiana. Among the enterprising young men of Cynthiana, there are few who surpass the subject of this sketch, .J. A. Wolford, son of Peter and Mary A (Carl) Wolford; was born in Pennsylvania on the third day of December, 1841. His parents were both natives of Pennsylvania, but now live at Minneapolis, Minn., where his father, Peter Wolford, is successfully engaged as Broker and Banker. Out of a family of five children, two sons and three daughters, Jacob A. is the elder son. His younger brother was named William L., and his sisters were: Sarah, Henrietta and Jennie. Our subject was educated at Tuscarora, Pa. After leaving school he accepted a position " clerk in his father's bank. He next went to Memphis, Tenn, where he engaged in the mercantile business for a few years. In 1863, he came to Cynthiana, and commenced the manufacture of woolen goods. In addition to this in 1864, he began running a distillery, and in 1865 he discontinued the manufacturing business altogether, and devoted his entire attention to his distillery, which business he has followed very successfully ever since. He was married in Harrison County, Ky., on the 14th of November, 1867, to Miss Josephine Cook, who was born in Pennsylvania, June 9, 1845. Her father, Stephen B. Cook, was also a native of Pennsylvania, and was born March 1, 1797, and died in Kentucky, on the 10th of March, 1874. His widow, Lydia (Beecher) Cook, was born in Lancaster County, Pa., June 10, 1805, and now lives quietly in the city of Cynthiana, near her children. Mr. Wolford's marriage has been blessed with one son, Louie C., and two daughters, Mary L. and J. Albertie. Mrs. Wolford is a member of the Episcopal Church. Our subject has no political aspirations, but always acts with the Domocratic party. He is also a member of the Order K. H. By his close attention to business he his accumulated sufficient means to enjoy any reasonable luxury that himself or family should desire.

5. Cora Virginia COOK. Born on April 17, 1855 in London County, Virginia.
In October 1872 when Cora Virginia was 17, she married William ADDAMS, son of John ADDAMS & Lucy LOGAN. Born on September 6, 1850.
They had the following children:

Family of James Albert COOK (3) & Sarah WOLFORD

6. Mary COOK. Born on January 25, 1860.
On October 10, 1876 when Mary was 16, she married James Willett FRAZER [1], son of Thomas Alexander FRAZER (1827-) & Ellen Elizabeth WILLETT (-1892). Born on July 21, 1853. James Willett died on September 20, 1905; he was 52.
They had the following children:

ii. May. Born on December 19, 1879. May died on June 12, 1880.

iii. Jay C. Born on August 10, 1883. Jay C. died on January 26, 1884.

7. Urilla ADDAMS. Born on October 25, 1873. Urilla died on April 20, 1960; she was 86.
On June 3, 1896 when Urilla was 22, she married Perry R. MEGIBBEN, son of Thomas Jefferson MEGIBBEN (1831-1890) & Elizabeth Jane DAVID (1833-1917). Born in October 1871 in Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky. Perry R. died on May 17, 1925; he was 53.
They had the following children:

8. Annie May ADDAMS.
From copy of "Cyrus Beecher" Bible: "Annie May Addams (6th child) married (2nd wife) Tom E. Moore (of Capt. T.E. Moore, Pendleton Co., and Sarah J. Shawhan, Harrison Co.). One child, Ann Moore.
Annie May married Thomas E. MOORE Jr., son of Thomas Edwin MOORE (1831-1921) & Sarah Jane SHAWHAN (1839-1927).
Thomas is named as executor of Margaret Pugh’s will (Will Bk. U, pp. 151-152). Margaret is the daughter of Nancy Shawhan and Nicholas Smith.
They had one child:

9. William ADDAMS. Born on August 4, 1895.


In June 1925 when William was 29, he married Mary Elizabeth SHROPSHIRE, daughter of William Clay SHROPSHIRE (1871-1941) & Elizabeth Lee PATTON (1876-1966). Born on June 2, 1901.
They had the following children:

ii. Eleanor (1932-)

10. Charles Royall FRAZER. Born on October 17, 1877.
On December 8, 1910 when Charles Royall was 33, he married Pauline Gertrude SOMERS.
