His “New Freedom” was a crusade and many acts were established through this movement

Yes, he dealt with the independence of the Philippine Islands and the next year Puerto Rico achieved territorial status, and its residents became U.S. citizens. He also dealt with neutrality and being involved in WWI.

We were neutral in the war until German submarines attacked American ships. We then became involved, won the war but got buried in debt from war expenses. US citizens helped to pay off the debt.
