OTHER FOUNDATIONS

1 Cor 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself

being the chief corner stone;

GOOD WORKS

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we

all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:10-12 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our

Lord.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of

death.

There are many other foundations we tend to build on; money, fame, success, education, status, strength, power, beauty, talent, possessions, relationships.

7 THINGS THAT THE LORD HATES

Proverbs 6:16-19  These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to

mischief,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

GOD LOVES YOU

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever

believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died

for us.

1 John 4:10 & 11 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his

Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

1 Tim 2:5 & 6 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

GOSPEL MEANS GOOD NEWS

1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you,

which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you,

unless ye have believed in vain.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ

died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the

scriptures:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the

Father, but by me.

KEY QUESTION

Acts 16:30 & 31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and

thy house.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son

shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent

me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from

death unto life.

John 11:25 & 26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me,

though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Romans 10:9-11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in

thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth

confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

2 Timothy 1:9 & 10 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our

works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in

Christ Jesus before the world began,

10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who

hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through

the gospel:

Ephesians 2:8 & 9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift

of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and

believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your

salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of

promise,

John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and

that believing ye might have life through his name.

Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be

spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION

God’s plan of salvation is so great that it is almost unbelievable, and His only requirement to receiving it is belief. With a gift like this I can only say, “Thank you”.
